Cob loaf is crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Perfect to make a delicious filled creation bacon and cheese or use in a cheese and antipasto platter.
Carmel's Cob Loaf - 1 x Cob Loaf, 300G Bacon, 1 x Pkt Cream Cheese, 1 x tub Sour Cream. 1 x half spanish onion 100G Chives. Cook Bacon and cut into strips. Add all other ingredients into a bowl and combine. Add cooked bacon to creamy mixture. Cut top off cob loaf and pull the inside out to leave a shell. Bake in oven for 5-10 minutes to crisp up shell, Take out of oven and add creamy mixture to the inside place back in oven with the cob loaf top and the inside bread torn into bite size pieces, Bake in oven for 30 -35 minutes keep a watch on the lid and torn bread as these might cook quicker than the loaf.
